1) Who is eligible to apply for a donation or grant?
Exxaro Aga Setshaba NPC primarily supports organisations and initiatives that deliver sustainable socio-economic benefits within Exxaro’s host and labour-sending communities.
Eligible entities include registered tax-exempted NPOs, NPCs, trusts, PBOs and private companies

2) How long does it take for a final decision to be made about my request for funding?
Funding applications are assessed once a quarter (on an annual calendar basis), followed by a funding decision.

3) What factors are considered for a funding application to be successful?
Projects are assessed for sustainability, measurable outcomes and alignment with Exxaro’s Social Impact Strategy.
In addition, funding decisions are based on available budgets and strategic priorities.

4) Following my online application, what is the assessment process?
The initial assessment flows from our applications management portal found on Exxaro website, followed by adjudication by Exxaro Aga Setshaba NPC Steering Committee which makes recommendations to Aga Setshaba Board for a final decision.

5) How will I know if my application is successful or not?
Successful or not, applicants will receive feedback following a final decision.
